Adoption Policies and Guidelines Morning Meadow tries to find the best homes for our animals. We have the right to refuse anyone adopting if we do not believe that it is in the best interest of our animal. MMAR requires that all cats and dogs be spayed/neutered and have all needed vaccinations. If a puppy or a kitten is adopted, the adopter agrees to have the animal spayed/neutered when the age of 16 weeks is reached. A deposit for spay/neuter will be collected at the time of adoption. MMAR will provide all health and medical information available on any animal adopted. Once the animal has been adopted, it is the responsibility of the ADOPTER/OWNER for ALL VET COSTS IF THE ANIMAL SHOULD BECOME ILL AFTER LEAVING THE RESCUE. You must agree to provide vet care for your animal as well and be financially able to provide proper care. If you live in an apartment or rent a house, you must have a written copy of landlord approval for the animal. You can read the full Adoption Contract that contains all of our policies.
MMAR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TAKE BACK ANY ANIMAL DURING IT'S LIFETIME IF IT IS NOT BEING PROPERLY CARED FOR.
Spay And Neuter Fees MMAR has reduced spay/neuter rates for all animals that are adopted. Please visit with us about payment plan arrangements. Spay/neuter through home vet is permitted. A certificate of sterilization must be returned to MMAR verifying that the animal has been spayed/neutered on or before the mandatory date on adoption contract.
